GTA 6 PC Release Date Estimate, Rumors, And News
GTA 6 is set for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026, but PC players wait longer. GameSpot estimates a Q1 2028 PC release based on Rockstar's track record — stressing it's not a leak.
Overview
Grand Theft Auto 6 is officially scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but PC players will have to wait longer. Rockstar has yet to announce a PC version at all — only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are listed as official platforms. GameSpot estimates a Q1 2028 PC release, roughly 15–18 months after the console launch, based on Rockstar's history (earlier than GTA 5's 19-month wait, later than Red Dead Redemption 2's 12-month gap). The estimate is not a leak or insider claim. Take-Two's Strauss Zelnick has said Rockstar traditionally prioritises console first and noted PC can now be 45–50% of a major title's sales — so a PC version is all but certain, just later.
