Overview
Grand Theft Auto 6 arrives 19th November on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Depending on where you may be in the world, however, when you actually get to play varies.
PlayStation Store listings reveal a region-by-region unlock schedule rather than a single global switch-on: the game unlocks at midnight local time on 19th November, with New Zealand first and a gap of roughly 19 hours between the earliest and latest regions. Because GTA 6 ships without a physical disc, every player is bound by the platform holders' digital scheduling. Xbox owners, meanwhile, appear able to fall back on the old trick of switching their console region to New Zealand to get in early.
